SV Judge Hans-Joachim Dux

Herr Dux was born April 13^th, 1946. He and his wife Annelie, have three children. He is self-employed by profession and trades in electronic parts for computers. German Shepherd Dogs (GSD) have been his life’s companions since his childhood. He acquired his first GSD in 1966 and became a member of the SV- Orstgruppe Schloß Neuhaus in Ostwestfalen-Lippe.

After some years stay in Spain, he came back to Ostwestfalen-Lippe and became a member of the SV in 1979. In the same year he also bred his first litter under the kennel name “de Intercanina”. Since that time, he has bred more than 60 litters and trained approx. 20 different dogs in the sport of Schutzhund.

At 2003 Sieger Show in Ulm, Oliver de Intercanina made SG-18 in the JKL and Quai de Intercanina made SG 28. At the 1998 Sieger Show in Nürnberg his female, Anabel vom Sofienwald, placed SG-10 in the JKL, and in 2001 she was awarded VA-11 at the Sieger Show in Düsseldorf. At the same show, his male, Quando vom Sofienwald, placed SG-3 in the JKL and at the 2003 Sieger Show in Ulm, Quando was awarded V-5.

At the 2005 Sieger Show in Ulm, his Quando son Bazi von der Urbecke placed SG-4 in the JHKL.

Herr Dux had been the breed warden of the SV Ortsgruppe Schloß Neuhaus from 1982 to 1991. Now he is its president. He has also been the regional group's breed warden of Ostwestfalen-Lippe. For the last 14 years he has been a member of the SV breeding committee. The SV breeding committee is responsible for breeding, breed surveying, assessments at exhibitions and specialty shows, education and officiating of conformation judges and education of breed wardens on local levels. In 1996, he became an SV Conformation Judge and in 2001, a Körmeister.

Herr Dux has judged more than 100 shows in Germany and abroad, such as Siegershows in Russia, stonia, Finland, Croatia, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Mexico, the Netherlands, the United States, Indonesia, Peru, China and Australia.

In 2002, he was selected by the SV to judge the 12-18 month Female Class at the German Sieger Show in Karlsruhe. In 2006, he was selected to judge the 18-24 month Male Class at the German Sieger Show in Oberhausen.
